Every pattern contains easy to follow instructions that are designed to insure your success, even if this is your very first quilt. I have created these patterns to teach you how to make various blocks (which is the foundation to all quilt patterns) and then within the pattern you will see how to use your new skills. There are plenty of color options and layouts included to help you visualize how these blocks can be used in a full size quilt. 
 
I don't like "cookie cutter quilts" and I don't want my students making them either.  Instead I prefer my students learn how to explore their own creativity, and make each quilt their own no matter what pattern they work with. Once you are comfortable with basic block construction you are ready to expand your knowledge and may want to explore special techniques more in depth. My quilt patterns are designed to help you go beyond the basics. Explore your passions for applique, foundation paper piecing, or learn some new techniques like those used in art quilts. I will be expanding this list as time goes on, so be sure to check back as I add new patterns and techniques to the list. 
 
The focus of my patterns will be on the beginner to confident beginner quilter.  When I started quilting, I found that many of the classes or workshops I attended assumed you had been quilting already and knew some of the basics. Because I found it so hard to get true beginner lessons, I wanted to create a site that did just that. If you are more advanced, you may still find my patterns enjoyable. 
 
All of my patterns are one-of-a-kind and created by me. You won't find them anywhere else on the internet or in stores (at least for now anyway!)
